Clare comes from Ireland to New York to be with her boyfriend, Jaime. But on the day of their wedding, he's a no-show! She is in despair until Quinn, Jaime's best friend, reaches out a helping hand; he gives her a job at his office and a place to stay. Not wanting to impose, however, Clare tries to make her side job of matchmaking into a business. For some reason Quinn is against this and demands she find him a wife to prove herself. Now she has to find a wife for the playboy of New York!
