Lovely story with charming characters who, despite being the opposite of what the other wanted, come to realise that they're exactly what they needed. The h is a gentle, fragile wo ... VIEW MORE
man done right. Although her past traumas still affect her and have shaped her life and goals, through facing her fears, with the H's support, she manages to overcome them and discover her inner strength. The H also has issues, he grew up unloved by his parents and so wants to be a strong, independent person, but he still manages to retain his kindness (though he won't admit it!). He isn't arrogant or a playboy, he's not overbearing or overly pushy, he's always respectful towards the h and even gets quite protective of her (which is great since her stalker sucks). The romantic build-up is excellent, it doesn't feel rushed, the leads don't instantly fall in love and jump into bed, they get to know each other through all their shared experiences, so the eventual confession of love and HEA feel truly earned.
