One night Josey's husband demands that she divorce him. He has taken a lover and wants to leave. But Josey is pregnant! She runs out of the house and drives away. Struggling with her emotions and a sharp curve in the nighttime road, she winds up in a ditch. When Josey regains consciousness, she is being cared for by Tom, a handsome vet.
