Reese is determined to hide her tears and go out on a high note. Following her late aunt's advice, Reese became a popular soap opera actress. However, after falling deeply in love with Alex, the man who plays opposite her on-screen, she has decided to leave the world of acting for good. No matter how many times they kiss and embrace, Reese is left with nothing but emptiness once the cameras stop rolling. That's because Alex has a secret girlfriend.
