Cassie Bradley Wright's family believes in a legend behind their family heirloom-a nightgown, which if worn on the night of the wearer's twenty-fifth birthday will grant her a dream of the man she could marry who will make her happy forever. As the night for her to don the family nightgown approaches, Cassie agrees to stay in the home of Ryan Lawford, a handsome and kind man who just became the guardian of his recently deceased brother and sister-in-law's daughter, Sasha. Cassie helps him look after Sasha, but she is finding it difficult not to fall for Ryan, even though she is already in a nine-year relationship with her high school boyfriend. Ryan further complicates things when he gives her a passionate kiss the likes of which she's never experienced before. Which man will Cassie dream of the night of her birthday?
