Deeply hurt by the loss of her fiance, Tallie throws herself into her work. At first her father says a woman's happiness is to be married and is opposed to her working, but then he changes his mind and gives her a company to run. What in the world is going on? When she begins the job, she is welcomed by Elias, a handsome man with piercing eyes.
