Resolution: Marriage

Mary had hoped to go to the prom with her beloved boyfriend, but that wish was crushed when Gus, her boyfriend's father, broke them up. Mary married another man in order to be able to raise the baby she was carrying in the heart of a warm, kind family. But Gus's harassment continued, and Garrett never came to see her. Many years passed and, after Mary was widowed, Garrett appeared again. He'd struck it big in the meantime, but Mary had to think about what was best for her child and her heart.
