The Desert Where a Dark Bird Soars

Journalist Lynn has infiltrated the small desert kingdom of Jantal in search of her missing brother. She is collecting information at the palace when she is caught by the guards. Kasim, the newly enthroned king, is rumored to have killed his older brother to succeed his late father. He makes a proposition to Lynn, suggesting that rather than facing execution, she can become his concubine.
