Miyuki has lived alone since she lost her parents in middle school. She attends a matchmaking date in her cousin's place and meets Takato, who comes from a wealthy family. Miyuki has no interest in love or marriage and planned to turn down his offer, but after hearing Takato's condition for the marriage, she decides to marry him.
Even though she had resigned herself to the fact that it would be a loveless marriage with no courtship, Miyuki finds herself strongly attracted to Takato, who is clumsy but kind and doting.
