It was... okay? The female lead suffered from PTSD due to her incredibly tragic and horrific past, yet thanks to the male lead she's able to become a stronger, more confident person and reclaim her lost heritage (she's actually a princess but that revelation felt honestly pointless, the only thing it really changed was that she inherited a fortune). As for the male lead, I ended up much preferring him (which almost never happens btw). He's very kind and selfless towards the girl, he's astonishingly patient with her, despite loving sex he stays faithful to his fake wife, doesn't push her AT ALL (even stops her when she tries to do things she isn't 100% comfortable with) and does everything he can to make her happy throughout the story. He's always putting her first and, in all honesty, she doesn't deserve him. Once she's rich she leaves him, despite him insisting he wants her to stay, and yet EVERYONE blames him for this and insists that HE beg HER to come back! WTF how is that fair?!
