Definite must read. The h is an honest, hard-working and very loving woman; she's got enough self-respect to stand up for herself when she's been disrespected (without being rude or overly combative), while having the decency to put aside her injured pride and hurt feelings, and tell the H about the pregnancy (it's refreshing to not have an h be too petty to do the right thing). The H isn't the usual rude, arrogant, insensitive a-hole I'm used to from the billionaire playboy trope; sure he's a bit arrogant, but he's not afraid to compliment someone who deserves it, and he's genuinely kind to most people (especially his house staff and the h). He does have some major trust issues when it comes to women, because of the desperate lengths his mother went to to protect him, but he always quickly realises his mistakes and does his best to make up for them, never being too proud to accept his mistakes or to apologise for them. I was really cheering for them the whole time! Well worth reading!
