It's a bit of a slow burn, but very good. Was very engaged in the story and learning more and more about their past history and what kept them together for so long. It's a very interesting, non-traditional dynamic that I think a lot of people would appreciate.The miscommunication is irksome, but also very grounded in reality as to why they'd have it, and I especially appreciate that even with the conflict of other interests they were still focused on the other, which made the inevitable breaking off easy to see and doesn't lead to any unnecessary drama (not a fan of love triangles myself.) The two have a very mutual, grounded, uncommon romance that is so refreshing to see and I really enjoy reading it a lot!
