This is the old neighbourhood friends to lovers trope with a furry twist. The female MC is 31 and is feeling the pressure to settle down, when the little boy from down the road comes back into her life as a grown up, top model. Apart from the 10 year age-gap, turns out the now grown up neighbourhood friend is also part wolf - so has ears and a tail... Pretty standard fare for this trope - very much the "will they, won't they" vibe - worth a read.
