Very high quality writing! The intrigue is captivating and makes some very interesting and unexpected pivots, and the character relationships are nuanced. Because of the set up, important information and worldbuilding is included fairly naturally, without being distracting. I've read a few of these kinds of stories and I generally enjoy them, and I can say this one is becoming a favorite of mine even among similar tales. I can't wait to read more!
