So sweet and sad and really beautiful. The subtle cultural details and the old house as a backdrop give the story so much depth. The characters are well-developed, their past traumas felt realistic as well as their responses to them. And there's a cat! This isn't just a fun read, it really felt meaningful, the kind of story where you find something new each time you read it.

Such a beautiful story. Great art, too. Very highly recommend this one. I just absolutely loved it.
