No smutThe series is great and honestly I don't even mind the lack of smut. The characters are fabulously fleshed out. The references to the past are beautifully and seamlessly done and add so much to the story. I'm giving it 5 stars. But as one person said it is miss labeled as a genre and should be included with shounen ai instead of Yaoi

This was one of the first books I've read on this site and I'm glad it was. The story itself was a little bit sterotypical where the characters easily jumped to conclusions but nevertheless, it was an amazing story of "unrequited," for the beginning, love between friends. I would highly recommend this story to first time shounen ai readers to ease into the genre.
