The story is forced to be too short which makes it lacking a fair bit of character development. It is a great setting and had lots of potential but its shortness makes it lacking. Its a bit jumpy and there is no build up of the romance story line, it sort of just jumps out of nowhere. I also feel that the male protagonist probably should have had more complex emotions in regards to his wife who passed away and the nanny that raised the children alongside the mother. Also for a society so foreign to the reader it would have been nice for a bit more world building.
