This manga is one of my all time favourites. No, there's no explicit smut. However, the way that both of the main characters relate to one another physically sells their chemistry and their emotional connection to one another so strongly that I entirely buy it, moreso that some very explicit smut I have read. IMO what makes a romance stand out is the specificity of what each party sees in one another, and Breathless Momentum manages to convey that specific attunement of both characters through body language, a testament to how well the characterisation is executed.I enjoy deeply how this manga tackles a pair of protagonists at a specific time in their lives -- they don't feel too young, but they don't feel fully established in their careers either. As an amateur musician, I also really buy the music aspects, which are more than mere set dressing.I wrote this review because there's a one star review wasn't at the top of the page and I don't believe this manga deserves that score.
