This, along with the other two stories about the Kincaid family, was well-adapted into a manga format. Harlequins aren't exactly known for great character development or intricate plots. They're short dramas you can read without too much emotional investment, but sometimes, you do want the standard harlequin to do just a bit more, and this does exactly that. It was a well-paced story, and like the illustrator notes at the end, I liked that this one was mostly told from the male lead's point of view as the "heroine" being saved by the female lead.
