The art style isn't my favorite, but the plotline and character developments more than make up for it. It's heartbreakingly sad at times, and Beiguang did NOT deserve that good of an ending, but Monitor Mingxu and Xiang Yang work extremely well together and bring out each other's best qualities. Unfortunately, even though they do eventually kiss, their kisses are always censored out ? I'm not sure why? Regardless, both of the Aunties and Tiantian are my favorite characters, they all deserve the world! Overall, great story! Also, unrelated, but "Beiguang" translates to "Bud Light" and I almost died laughing at that revelation. Drink up!

This manga is absolutely STUNNING. The story is captivating, each character is incredibly deep, the art is to die for ? I wish I could give this more stars! Five is just too few! If the mangaka has any more works in their repertoire, then I need to find and devour ALL OF THEM. I wish I knew how to read Japanese just so I wouldn't have to wait for the translation of the next volume. This is the first time I've actually wanted to go out and buy a physical book I've already read just so I can get it signed. Take my wallet already, Yuno-san!

Not great, not terrible. The plot felt very rushed. I understand instant crushes based on physical attraction, but they were already saying they "liked" each other after only knowing each other for a week. Ironically, the (ex-)girlfriend was my favorite character. Also, the unrelated extra story at the end, with the librarian and the college student, was…really…weird. I didn't care for it. Overall, the art style was alright (I've seen worse) and the premise is ultimately decent, it just should've had a lot more passes by the author.

This is intense and intriguing. It's a little hard to describe, as the nature of their relationship never stagnates, it always ramps up and up. It starts out like hunter (Tengoku) and hunted (Aoki), but they come to even ground seamlessly. The art was extremely well done as well ? the artist has a firm grasp of each face, so the characters never look how they shouldn't. You can recognize who you're looking at from the back of the head! I also appreciate how realistically their bodies are portrayed. It makes the story feel very grounded in reality. Highly recommend! Do mind the non-/dub-con warnings though, as that is precisely how it starts.
