Abby and her missing twin sister are the secret love-children of the previous head of Golden Spurs, the family-run company which Leo, an outsider, is the new CEO of. A one-night stand leaves Abby pregnant with Leo's baby, so Leo uses this opportunity to marry Abby to gain higher status with said family, without revealing to her her true parentage. I actually love that Leo is genuinely as ruthless and ambitious as he seems, he's not some poor misunderstood man-baby nor does he have some clich辿 sob story to try to justify and excuse his bad behaviour. It's great seeing how falling in love changes him for the better and how Abby's kindness and belief in his goodness bring out the best in him. Abby herself is so determined to make their marriage work, she earnestly and sincerely wants to have a family, with Leo, and will even put her life at risk to stay with her new family. I also appreciate how her decision to trust Leo is all her own. HEA well earned!

These two are supposedly best friends (as they constantly remind us) yet they have no chemistry whatsoever and have nothing in common, their whole relationship feels painfully forced. Amelia has all the personality and emotion of a dead fish, with the only thing standing out about her being her ridiculously big breasts. Tyler is frivolous and irresponsible, he doesn't seem to take anything seriously and can't even keep a single promise for even a day, he keeps going off and disappearing for weeks at a time despite saying how his time with Amelia is precious because of their agreed 30 day limit. Their interactions are so awkward and not in a cute, adorkable way but in a 'novice actors stiffly reading lines straight off the script' way, I have a hard time believing they care about each other as friends let alone anything more. There are far, far worse Harlequin stories and there's nothing off-putting here, but there're far better you could spend your time and money on.

Both Kate and Cristiano have had difficult lives, Kate's has been filled with grief and fear of further misfortune and Cristiano's childhood was full of hardship, but both learn to free themselves from the things which have long held them back (Kate's constant fear and Cristiano's constant push to succeed) and finally find happiness together. I just wish it didn't take so many external factors for them to realise this, it makes it feel like their HEA was just a fluke or pure luck instead of it being something they truly earned for themselves, but that's just my opinion. I'm also not a fan of how incredibly rushed the ending is, it leaves quite a few loose ends and some plot points unresolved (such as what's up with the secretary, what about his manager and her friends etc.). Heck, we never even get to see them reveal to Alexander that Cristiano is his father! I really wanted to see the kid's reaction to that! The story would have really benefitted from an epilogue.

The beginning was really confusing because of the time-jumps and it takes so long to finally learn the whole truth that I spent most of the story clueless as to what the heck was going on. After Sanchia's cheating ex dies she has a one-night-stand with stranger Alex (actually her ex's very suspicious and cold step-brother), gets pregnant, they get married, she loses the baby and their relationship sours even more so she leaves, gets hit by a car and gets amnesia. Two years later they reunite by pure chance, but instead of using this incredible opportunity to win back his wife by treating her well and making her fall for him (like anyone with sense would do!), Alex lies about their relationship, claiming they were briefly lovers, then drags her to his holiday home, all while keeping as emotionally distant from her as possible. His actions make absolutely no sense and even contradict his motives! Thank god the OW arrives to reveal the truth or we'd still be in the dark! Avoid this mess.

An incredibly touching and heartwarming story with two of the kindest, most compassionate leads ever. Campbell is so genuinely smitten with Claire and so earnest in his devotion to her and his patients, he really is the perfect man (screw those a-hole playboy billionaires Harlequin is infested with), while Claire is equally devoted and caring towards her patients and just as selfless in everything else. I appreciate how understandable and believable Claire's actions are, she's seen what her mother's terrible disease has done (and is still doing) to her and her poor husband, and is terrified of inflicting such a burden on the man she loves and any children she may have. I also get why she might not want to tell anyone about her situation, it's an intensely personal and private matter after all. I really love how relatable and believable all her emotions are. The story has so many emotional moments and the art really does them justice. Marriage and love persist in sickness and in health!

A collection of oneshots of VERY mixed quality featuring 5 different "couples". The first couple are the best, the girl looks so sweet and innocent but actually has some very dirty thoughts and desires which the guy is all too happy to fulfil, leading to a steamy, yet still loving, relationship. The second are the worst, the girl starts off very confident in herself and her wants but the moment she starts interacting with the guy she's been obsessing over, she turns into a shy, insecure virgin (you love sex why are suddenly so ashamed of yourself?!), whereas the guy leads her on the whole time, all while cheating on his wife (who's away giving birth to his kid!!). Despicable scumbag! The third features another cheater, but at least the girl stays confident and secure in her sexuality. Fourth is really adorable, won't spoil because the twist is too good! Fifth is also great, insecure girl desperately wants to finally lose her virginity, horny pervert (with heart of gold) obliges.

Lilley is far too forgiving and selfless. When her boyfriend cheats on her with her roommate instead of talking to her about their issues, she not only forgives him but apologises! Alessandro constantly tries to keep her at a distance emotionally, especially after they get married (because obligatory pregnancy from a single instance of unprotected sex), but she still falls in love with him. She tries to tell him that his biggest rivals are her family but he keeps interrupting her, wrongly (arrogantly) assuming she's going to confess her love for him, then when the OW (who's obviously the one who's been betraying his secrets to said rivals) tells him at a huge party, he cruelly interrogates her and humiliates her in front of everyone, but she still forgives him and takes him back almost instantly! Honestly the only likable person is Lilley's cousin who literally knocks some sense into him, so go read his story, The Count's Secret Child, instead, it's better in every way!

Hilarious and surprisingly touching! Misami is adorably obsessed with bacteria, she even goes on a bacteria-related rant during sex! And it actually turns out to be plot relevant! Isana is arrogant and determined enough to drag Misami kicking and screaming out of a life of science and solitude and into a loving relationship. And should he ever get too cocky, you can trust Misami to be there to lecture him about bacteria for another three hours. So yeah, these two are perfect for each other.

One of the most delightful stories on here! The characters are all so wonderful and likable (seriously, not a bad apple in sight), the tone never gets to cringy levels of angst or drama, and the ending left me with a smile and warm, fuzzy feelings. Anna sees Dan drowning his grief from losing his beloved mother and can't help but want to comfort him, which leads to a no-strings-attached one night stand. After she finds out she's pregnant, Anna tries to contact Dan but is met by terrible rumours of him being a heartless, ruthless businessman (he had his reasons though) so she hesitates to involve such a terrifying guy in her child's life, then he disappears entirely (he changed his name). Years later Dan reappears in her life as an investor in the hotel where she works and they get to reconnect. I love how nicely and respectfully Dan treats Anna, he doesn't ever try to put her down and genuinely wants to do right by her and their (adorable, sassy, bossy) daughter and she appreciates it.

Cute and funny, Jenna's very likable and has a little bit more of a spine than most Hq women, I'm glad that she actually tried her best to tell the guy about their babies (and she has all the unread emails to prove it!). Her fierce mama bear sister is also the best big sis ever. The guy's your stereotypical Hq arrogant, rich playboy, nothing special there, though his scenes with his sons (specifically his "crash course in being a dad") are very funny. Story's fairly clich辿 and predictable, but it's still sweet and charming.
