Prince Rakhal, a playboy who'll soon have to get married, is instantly captivated by Natasha, a beautiful woman who's headstrong and fiercely independent, she's the only woman to ever order him around and defy him. When he's finally managed to seduce her, he realises the next day that he didn't use protection and so she might be pregnant, so he tricks her into going to his country to marry her should that be true. I love how feisty Natasha is, she's furious about being kidnapped and tries to escape, then when she finds out about the harem she immediately demands Rakhal promise her he won't sleep with anyone but her (a real problem for him since tradition dictates he's not allowed to touch her while she's pregnant). And bless him he actually keeps his promise, even when he believes she's left him! Now that's love. And the girls of the harem aren't what they seem either, they're all really sweet and very grateful to Rakhal. Both leads are so likable and deserve each other. Loved this!

The MC is so devoted to her job as a concierge that she's willing to do anything to help her tenants, including having sex with them. Her sincere desire to fulfil their requests to the best of her abilities is very endearing, she's so adorable! And she even manages to help all the tenants in really sweet ways that go beyond sexual gratification, I'm glad that she's more than just their (willing) sex slave. Her relationship with her boss progresses nicely as well, they're really cute together. The art is lovely and the spicy scenes are really hot, so I have no complaints. All in all, I love it!

That was delightful! The romance is very slow burn, but that allows it to properly develop and at a good pace, it doesn't feel rushed at all. The female lead, Sarah, is kind, polite, level-headed and independent, she has a healthy amount of pride and dignity and doesn't go gaga over a handsome man. She recognises her feelings for the professor but realises how unlikely a relationship with him would be, so she tries to keep her distance from him to maintain her self-respect, which I really admire. I'm glad her world doesn't revolve around him, unlike most Hq girls! The professor (forgot his name because Sarah only ever calls him professor) is grumpy and surly, he's arrogant and demanding, but he's not a shallow playboy and he's very devoted to his family. Getting to see his kind and loving side (which he only shows to his loved ones) is what makes him so likable. These two are so incredibly stubborn, but their chemistry is wonderful and their love feels genuine. Definite recommend!

The plot is clich辿 but it's a classic, childhood friends-turned-lovers, and the classics become clich辿s for a reason. What imo let it down, and what left a bitter taste, was the flat, one-dimensional leads. Kara has exactly 2 traits: she loves her adoptive mother Sally and she loves Matthew. That's really all there is to her, she doesn't grow, she doesn't change, AT ALL, and she's far too obsessed and forgiving of Matthew. And for his part, Matthew barely has any personality to speak of, he's made purely out of tropes and stereotypes: playboy, arrogant jerk, neglected child who doesn't believe in love etc. I honestly struggle to come up with anything positive to say about him, because if you don't like those tropes then you don't like him, since he's nothing beyond them. So in short, good story and art wasted on terrible, poorly developed characters.

The best I can say is that it's a good manga for those new to Harlequin, but for those like me who've read dozens of 'em it's bland and generic. There are a few twists, but of the 2 biggest ones, one mainly concerns the dead cousin while the other completely destroyed the female lead imo. At first I loved her because she seemed like a strong, intelligent woman who stood up for herself and wouldn't let a man use her, but then it turns out that she's actually spineless and pathetic, willing to be nothing more than an inferior replacement if it meant staying longer with a guy. Definitely NOT a "defiant bride". She spends all of the story (save the excellent flashback scene) going along with the guy's wishes, and the one time she tries to defy him it's just to be kicked around by her family instead. The guy doesn't truly love her, he does a bunch of things ranging from stupid to downright awful, none of which are excusable (not that he tries), but no one calls him out for it, which I hate!

Pretty short and steamy, the two guys were very sexy and the girl was attractive, they look good together. Both the men were very accepting of the marriage, one because complaining would be a pain and the other because he seems laidback and goes with the flow. The woman was understandably confused and shocked, and remained very resistant to suddenly being forced to marry two (very horny) men she'd just met, but she fights what's obviously the inevitable for over two thirds of the story and it got very tedious very quickly. I'm honestly getting sick of all the clich辿d reluctant girls, it makes almost all her experiences with guys border on non-con and it would've been so, SO much hotter and more interesting if she was on board like the men and they were all just trying to figure out how to make it work together. As it is she spends most of the story trying (and failing) to fight off the men's teasing, then right at the end she suddenly decides she likes them. Wut.

I really liked this, the art was fantastic, the smut was suitably steamy and abundant (though not very varied), and there was even a decent plot which surprised me, so it's definitely worth the points.

Very short and rushed, but also very hot, so I'd say it's well worth a read.

It was... good. Not great, but still decent. Nico had a really good reason for not meeting Lily as promised and he even had a really good reason for his playboy antics. But everything felt far too rushed and the romance too forced. The two leads shared little to no romantic interactions (does Nico revealing his sob story even count as one?) and they (supposedly) fell in love during Nico's 2-3 days incognito, which was off screen. All the conflicts were resolved very poorly as well. Lily's arrest? Off screen. Nico's parents' disapproval? Same. The king of Monteverde's plot? Half off screen, half sudden instant rescue outta nowhere. Nico's ex-fianc辿e? Nothing, she just disappears after two pointless scenes. It's so unsatisfying! And Lily has next to no personality either! All I've learned about her is that she loves her son. And maybe Nico too (though why or how is a mystery). Family? Backstory? Hobbies? Dreams and ambitions? Not a clue. The artist clearly never learnt "show don't tell".

I about died reading this, it's just the perfect blend of feelgood and funny. If you're looking for a serious, love-centric story, then this isn't for you. This manga is exploding with charm, humour, interesting and likeable characters, a good pace and a well developed plot, it's a ton of fun to read and highly entertaining from start to finish, I never knew what to expect! The leads are wonderful and click so well together, they both have strong, fleshed out (and opposing!) personalities and there's never a dull moment when they're together. The kid is the best Hq child I've ever seen; while those of his trope very rarely have any personality trait beyond "cute", he's just as well developed and interesting as the leads and is just as much a main character as them. The great-aunt is also a surprising dark horse; after barely a mention at the start, she suddenly appears later on and bulldozes her way through the plot! The romance isn't the focus but it's still there and it's very sweet.
