It was okay, pretty standard and clich辿 but fine. The story goes just as you'd expect from this trope and genre, no surprises at all. Both leads are decent (the female lead especially I found to be a sympathetic character), though nothing about them particularly stands out, so I found them a bit bland. It's adequately enjoyable, if very predictable, so while you certainly could do worse with your points, you definitely could do better.

Incredibly entertaining, I was laughing the entire time! You can tell just how much the author and artist enjoyed making fun of everyone, the comedy was on point (and usually at the expense of one of our poor hapless fools!). The plot is pretty standard, Miss Friendzone's in love with oblivious childhood friend Mr Won't Commit, so she tries to give up on him and live her life properly; cue Mr Clueless finally realising his friend is actually hot and he might just have feelings for her. But who cares about plot, you should read this manga to laugh at Daisy the feisty duck and Robert the "good-for-nothing-nobody". My only gripe is that Daisy has suffered almost her entire life pining after a dense playboy, and right when she's finally starting to treat herself right and improve her life (and she really does try her best, poor ducky), idiot guy ruins all that hard work and finally realises the bleeding obvious. Seriously, Daisy deserves so much better, but at least she's happy in the end.

Definite must read. The h is an honest, hard-working and very loving woman; she's got enough self-respect to stand up for herself when she's been disrespected (without being rude or overly combative), while having the decency to put aside her injured pride and hurt feelings, and tell the H about the pregnancy (it's refreshing to not have an h be too petty to do the right thing). The H isn't the usual rude, arrogant, insensitive a-hole I'm used to from the billionaire playboy trope; sure he's a bit arrogant, but he's not afraid to compliment someone who deserves it, and he's genuinely kind to most people (especially his house staff and the h). He does have some major trust issues when it comes to women, because of the desperate lengths his mother went to to protect him, but he always quickly realises his mistakes and does his best to make up for them, never being too proud to accept his mistakes or to apologise for them. I was really cheering for them the whole time! Well worth reading!

Not a bad read, the pace is good, not as rushed as most HQ titles, and all the characters are likeable, including the two leads. The girl is quite mild, gentle and sweet, but she certainly does have a backbone and isn't a complete pushover; her heart is always in the right place. The guy isn't an abusive jerk, so that's always a plus, but I dislike how he'd rather hurt others than risk getting hurt himself, it just makes him seem like a selfish coward (and he is most definitely a coward when it comes to his emotions). At least he managed to realise his mistakes and finally man the f*k up in the end. I still think the girl could do better :P

The female lead is one of the stronger HQ girls. Despite being naively in love with the male lead, getting harshly put down by him when she tells him she's pregnant, causing her to miscarry one of her babies, she resolves to raise her remaining son on her own and becomes a stronger, more independent woman. She doesn't immediately take him back or forgive him, in fact she rejects him and fights him at every turn, forcing the man to get his way through their young son (the one person the girl can't say no to). She only reveals her feelings for him once the guy finally opens up his heart to her and is completely honest with her. I'm glad that after what the guy did to her, the girl only allows herself to be vulnerable in front of him after he himself is at his most vulnerable and honest. It's a truly heartfelt scene, definitely the high point imho.

A really enjoyable read with incredibly likeable characters. I especially love the king, he's such a devoted family man and always ready to chew out his son whenever he's being (unintentionally) inconsiderate towards the female lead. The romance between the two leads is very sweet, I was rooting for them the whole time.

The two leads are so cute together and work so well off each other! They're complete opposites (the guy is carefree and doesn't take anything seriously, while the girl is very serious, tough and straight-laced), so every one of their interactions is hilarious, especially at the start when Christine doesn't like Jake, who constantly teases her (like a little boy picking on the girl he fancies). It's really sweet how each helps the other to be a bit more like them, so that both can grow to be better, happier people, it just shows how well they complement each other. Also, the guy's proposal has to be the funniest and most adorable one I've read so far!

A really sweet story with nice, likeable characters. The summary's kinda misleading, the hero doesn't accuse the heroine of anything or reject her at all, they both get along very well, minus a little hiccup due to a simple misunderstanding (which hilariously seems to run in the family!). There's incredibly little angst, it's resolved quite quickly and easily, then everything goes perfectly (maybe even a little too perfectly some might say). A good read if you want a simple dose of sweet love with little angst.

It's amazing, and sexy, and well written, and sexy, and hilarious, and SO SEXY!! I love all the stories, they're all worth a read, seriously. And all the characters are so much fun to read about, their reactions to everything are so entertaining. Just get this, it's 100% worth the price, you won't regret it!

The lead female is a sweet, selfless and self-sacrificing cinnamon roll, a truly pitiable woobie who triggers every single protective mama bear instinct I have. Which makes me absolutely loathe Mr. A-hole McPettyCoward for the hell he put her through. She almost died because of how needlessly vindictive he is, and she constantly blames herself for the suffering he caused her. He never even thought to question her guilt, and only does so when evidence of her innocence practically (but sadly not literally) smacks him in the face. And his way of atoning for his reprehensible actions is merely to throw his money around, because he's too much of a coward to do anything more meaningful. I give this three stars because the art is beautiful, the lead woman keeps tugging at my heartstrings, and her baby is precious.
